OK - I downloaded this program from CNET, took ownership, ran as administrator and all is fine - cool program, by the way - Now, there's a couple things to check here - 1 Is the CD any good?
We just need to track down the problem, but it is fixable. Can you expand on what you did? I'm not quite sure I understand. Was the folder already there that you took ownership of, or did you re-install? And, if you re-installed, was it from a new download? Where can I download it from? I mean the full version not demo? First try Un-installing that folder - you want to wipe out any reference of the old program so that Windows treats it as a new program, otherwise it won't do any good to take ownership, because Windows already has that folder marked as a problem.
Didn't work I ran the installer of the CD as admin. Took ownership of the program folder. Could take control of folders on CD?
I guess the only other thing I can think of is to load it to a flash drive and try to run it from there. I really don't know, though. I'm sorry I couldn't help you more.
